Sparkeo gives you a flexible, easy and rewarding way to create video courses, video lectures and any other types of instructional videos. All you have to do is upload good quality video content and Sparkeo will provide you with all the tools and resources you need to promote and sell your video course all over the Web.

Sparkeo is a sophisticated yet easy-to-use feature rich video platform that lets you earn money by teaching what you love. You can also offer a video course at no charge to simply promote something and/or share knowledge for the sake of sharing knowledge.

Sparkeo is free for those who wish to create paid video Courses. With every paid video course that you create, Sparkeo will add a bonus of free time (bandwidth) to your account to create free promotional video courses to promote yourself as an expert in your field, and help you promote your content in the most effective way.

If you would like to create an invitation-only video course without a fee or a free video course, then you must select from a package of time (bandwidth) that suits your specific needs. While we are in our initial beta, bandwidth will be free. We will let you know when our initial beta period is about to end to give you ample time to plan ahead.

All video course types include the full range of Sparkeo's rich set of features including full access to Sparkeo Analytics (coming soon!).

Sparkeo is a video course platform that lets you sell your video content in a very simple way without having to get wrapped up in complicated and time-consuming payment processes. In addition to taking care of the entire payment process, every time you log in to your Sparkeo account, you will be able to see the status of your sales, payments, funds, etc. in detail.

With Sparkeo, you can create a thriving business while delivering a new learning experience to your viewers. The Sparkeo platform is intuitive and adaptable to your specific requirements, quick to learn and easy to use.

Sparkeo offers 3 different types of video courses:

* Open course – for everybody
* Invitation only video course – you select who you wish to participate (Coming soon!)
* Paid video courses – for anyone who pays for your course

Definitely! Whether you are a consultant, teacher, blogger, expert, coach, lecturer, etc., Sparkeo helps you promote and monetize whatever it is that you are offering. Sparkeo lets you sell your video course as well as online video consulting time. Sparkeo offers tools to maximize the exposure of your content and track and analyze results to help you improve your courses and reach your goals.

* Go to "Create Course" and upload your video file
* Click "Browse"
* Select a file to upload from your computer
* Click "Start Uploading Video"

Carefully read all the rules about uploading videos (e.g. only videos you've produced!) Your course will then begin uploading to our servers and you will see a progress bar on the right side of your screen showing you its upload status.

While your video is being uploaded, you may continue filling out basic information about your course including the course title, category, description and tags, and you can set up pricing and viewer access settings.

Now it's time for action! Once your video file has uploaded, you should start using all of Sparkeo's cool promotional tools. Measure your progress through the Statistics panel so that you can understand your audience better and then make any necessary improvements in the way you present your courses content for maximum results! (Statistics are coming very soon - stay tuned!)

To complete your profile you can either: * Use the Facebook Connect button and import the setting you want from your Facebook account (Coming soon!) or * You can edit your information by going to the Settings page in the navigation bar at the top of the page.

To set up your social networks go to either the Create Course page or to the Settings page. There you can select the social networks you want to use to publish your course in your Sparkeo Public Profile as well as in every video course that you offer to your users.

No, there is no time limit. Keep in mind that for a paid video course, the minimum price you will be allowed to charge will be defined based on the length of your video course.

We recommend separating longer content into 20-40 minute sections. We believe people will be more attentive and receptive to learning in shorter, more focused windows of time.

When you create a paid video course and sell it, you will receive 70% of the price of the course.

You must have a PayPal account (www.paypal.com). Once you begin earning from your video course, you can make withdrawals. You must make a request for a payment to be made to your PayPal account. Payment requests are set at a minimum of $50 and typically take between 1 to 3 working days. Read the PayPal terms and conditions for full information about using PayPal.

To change your email notifications, click on Settings in your navigation bar and choose Notifications. There you can select what kind of notifications you wish to receive from us. This setting can be modified anytime at your convenience.

Sales and views are currently updated twice daily. If you see that your courses have not updated in over 24 hours - and you think they should have - please email us through the contract page.

Users who purchase a course can view it as many times as they'd like, therefore it may appear that your course has been viewed more times than it was sold (which is very likely!)

A the present time, no. In the future, the Sparkeo Video Platform will have the option to be individually branded, however this will, most likely, change in the future.

At the present time, you can customize the color of the player to match your site using the given options, but cannot customize the size. In the future, the Sparkeo Video Platform will have the option to be customized in terms of color and size to match with your website's design.

Sparkeo can turn skill or training transfer into an engaging and social experience while providing businesses with the ability to assess the effectiveness of their implementation by gauging levels of interaction and the ease of the experience.

Knowledge Portability is the idea that learning over the Web should be portable, finding "learners" wherever they happen to be. This concept helps form the basis for Sparkeo's vision and service offering. It is also the reason why we allow users to embed the Sparkeo Video Platform anywhere across the Web - in social networks, blogs, or any other website.

You can either sign up or sign in to Sparkeo.com with the information you've already submitted in your Facebook account. That means that instead of creating a new profile in Sparkeo, you can select specific information from your Facebook profile that you'd like to appear on your Sparkeo profile. This lets you fill out your profile faster and saves you time and work. You can also promote or share your Sparkeo activities on Facebook.

Each time your Facebook account is contacted you will see a permission request window. We will not access any information from your Facebook account that you do not wish to display in Sparkeo or share with us. Information that can be accessed through Facebook Connect includes profile details such as your name, age, place of origin, hobbies & interests, etc.

Yes and no. You can edit basic information about the course, such as the description, price, category, and tags. You cannot, however, edit the video itself once it has been sold. (See FAQ below for more details.)

All the information related to the video course can be modified at any time, but the video content itself, once sold, cannot be modified or edited. If you would like to re-edit your video course, we suggest uploading it as a new file and create a new video course. You can delete the old one, but it will still be available to those users who previously purchased the video course. The deleted courses will not appear in search results.

Go to the “Course List” page to find the video you wish to delete and click “Delete.” This action is final, so please think twice before deleting because we will not be able to reproduce the deleted video courses for you. Please note that if you are referring to a video course that has already been sold, the video will still appear for those users who have already purchased it. In that case, the user who bought the video course will be able to see your video course and you will then be given the option to delete the video permanently.

Go to the “Course List” page, locate the course for which you'd like to change the thumbnail, and click "ChangeThumbnail" under the current thumbnail. Alternately, you may go to your course list, click "Edit Video."

You can upload any kind of content as long as it belongs to you or you own the rights to commercialize it, and as long as it meets our content guidelines.

Sparkeo allows you to upload video courses of any size. Please note that if you upload a course that is more than 100 mb, you will be required to either charge for viewing of the course, or you will need to purchase a bandwidth plan. Contact us for information about bandwidth plans.

Sparkeo allows you to upload any instructional video material, assuming you are the owner of the material, which is subject to the Sparkeo Content Guidelines. This means that as long as you own the rights of the video content and that the content follows our guidelines (no violence, no discrimination, etc.), anything can be uploaded. You can upload any file in one of the supported formats: FLV, MOV, M4V, AVI, WMV, MP4

Video course payments can be made in two different ways: Through the Sparkeo Video Platform itself or through Sparkeo.com.

The user can initiate the payment process only when the video course preview has finished. The user will then be directed to a new page where he can enter his/her PayPal account and make a payment for the total cost of the video course. Once payment is made, the user can instantaneously access the entire video course.

Paying through Sparkeo.com is just like making a purchase on a shopping website. The user will follows basic steps until the purchasing process for the Video Course is concluded, and receive the permanent link to access the purchased video course.

To promote your video course, go to the Promotion tab inside the video course you've created and decide which tools you would like to use. You can:

* Send emails to a customized list of students, clients or customers
* Post your video course to your existing social networks
* Embed your course in blogs, social networks and websites

Sparkeo offers you all the necessary tools for your course to be shown anywhere at anytime. The rest is up to you - make things happen!

Sparkeo offers you an extensive set of easy-to-use marketing and analytics (coming soon!) tools to maximize your exposure and measure your progress. Also, by being able to use social networks to promote your video course, your network of contacts will continue to grow, a benefit you can easily leverage in the future.

Every time you create a video course, Sparkeo automatically creates a permanent link (URL) where the video course will be hosted. This means that you can use that specific URL to allow people to easily find your video course. This permanent link goes directly to your course page and it’s linked with your public profile where you can share your personal information with your customers/audience.

Definitely! If you find something interesting, why not share it with your blog/website visitors? To embed someone else's video course, click the "Envelope" icon on the course to find the embed mode. In the future, you will be able to customize the background colors and size of the player. Once customization is complete, a code will be generated that you can embed wherever you'd like.

No. Sparkeo gives you the option of either charging your viewers for your video courses, or offering them for free. If you choose to make your video courses free, you will need to purchase a time (bandwidth) package to cover the basic cost of hosting your video courses on Sparkeo. While we are in our initial beta, however, you will receive this bandwidth for free.

No. Sparkeo provides you with a toolset designed to enable you to easily promote and market your video course to be able to reach a maximum number of users. You will generate traffic over time based on how you make use of Sparkeo's promotional and analytical tools.

Always remember that the quality of your content is the most important thing. Beyond this, Sparkeo offers you rich promotional tools that enable you to easily leverage customer emails, social networks and bookmarking services in one place to market your content and grow your revenues.

The capability to embed your video course around the Web lets you take your video courses wherever your audiences might be, and keeps you from having to using Sparkeo.com as a destination website.
