Here are some standard jazz voicings (chords) for Dmin7 and G7. This chord sequence occurs in countless tunes from jazz to pop music. Having these voicings at your disposal will make you a better accompanist AND a better soloist (most jazz musicians get their solo ideas from chord voicings).
